Supposedly there are more restaurants per capita in Bermuda than anywhere else. Even if that were not the case, most restaurants in Bermuda are VERY good!
Some of Bermuda's specialties you can get in the eateries around Bermuda include:
- Bermuda's fish chowder, commonly
made with rockfish or snapper and flavored with local black rum and sherry peppers
sauce.
- Codfish cakes, once a staple food on the island and still prepared
on certain days of the year.
- Johnny-cakes, cornmeal griddle cakes with peas
and rice.
