 Bermudian citizenship through my grandma?
Author: Nick Owens

This is yet another thread on citizenship, im sorry but i couldnt find anything answering my question.

My mom lived in Bermuda for years when she was young, my grandmother has citizenship but now lives in the US. My great Uncle has citizenship and lives there as well as my moms brother and sister.

Could i get Bermudian citizenship through my grandma or is that going back too far?

Thank you

Nick

Quite a bit of information regarding your question IS already in the forum, Nick, particularly, the most recent posts on the "bermudian" thread.

Your most likely course to apply and possibly obtain Bermudian Status (Citizenship) would be for your mother to obtain Status through your grandmother, then you could apply for Status through your mother.

This course assumes that your grandmother is currently listed on the registry as a Status Holder.

Contact Bermuda Immigration for authoritative information.

M. Howard
